<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To illuminate a transmission part of a mirror by efficiently using a back surface side of the mirror. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle door mirror device 10, front and back surfaces of a reflecting part 26A of a mirror body 22 reflect light, and a transmission part 26B of the mirror body 22 transmits light. A light emitting device 40 is arranged on a back surface side of the mirror body 22, and is enabled to emit light. Here, a reflector 30 is arranged on the back surface side of the mirror body 22, the light emitted by the light emitting device 40 is reflected by the reflector 30 and also by the back surface of the reflecting part 26A so as to be guided to the transmission part 26B, and thereby, the transmission part 26B is illuminated. Thus, the light emitted by the light emitting device 40 can be guided to the transmission part 26B by using the back surface of the reflecting part 26A of the mirror body 22.
