An electric socket device having an alarming function according to the present invention comprises: a load line connected to a terminal provided in a plug body of an electronic device; a relay for turning on or off an electrical connection between the load line and a main line to which commercial AC power is supplied; a sensor for sensing a current value supplied to the electronic device; a control unit for controlling the relay to be off if a sensing value inputted from the sensor is a value corresponding to a standby state of the electronic device; a driving power unit for converting power supplied through an input line from the main line into AC power to supply driving power to the control unit; a contact switch for turning on or off an electrical connection between the main line and the input line; a support unit which is physically moved by a movement of the plug body coupled in an socket groove portion to turn on the contact switch and is moved reversely by a restoring force from an elastic unit when the plug body is decoupled, to turn off the contact switch; a mode switch to which a signal to change an operation mode is inputted; a sensing unit for sensing current flowing in the input line; and an alarm unit, wherein, the control unit initiates the alarm unit, if no current is detected by the sensing unit after the control unit is changed to an alarm mode by the mode switch, because the support unit moves in the reverse direction due to a disconnection of the plug body and as a result the contact switch is turned off.
