An electric lock with an automatic locking function is provided to exclude a minimum clearance for operating a dead plate and a dead cam by controlling the rotation of a panic ring through a stopper and thus automatically locking and unlocking a dead bolt and to lock and release a latch bolt. In an electric lock(10) with an automatic locking function equipped with a dead bolt(16) and a latch bolt(46) and installed at a door, a forward and reverse motor is operated by receiving power supplied when a password is released in pushing buttons formed at an outer body, and equipped with a motor shaft rotated forward and reversely. A dead cam(11) has a dead rod(12) turned by the rotation of the forward and reverse motor and the motor shaft is fitted to the dead rod. A dead plate(14) is combined with a dead bolt(16) pulled by the rotation of the dead rod formed at the side of the dead cam. A latch ring(30) is installed at the lower side of the dead cam and provided with a hanging projection(32). A panic ring(34) having a stopper(36) and a panic rod(38) is fitted to the latch ring. A latch hinge(40) is disposed at the side of the latch ring and connected with a latch fixer(45) through a latch link(42). The latch bolt pulled by the rotation of the panic rod formed at the side of the panic ring fitted to the latch ring is fixed to the latch fixer. A switch(50) is installed at the lower side of the latch fixer and operated through bidirectional contact points. A switch lever(53) is inserted or projected at the lower side of the switch by a lever spring(56) to apply a forward and reverse signal to the forward and reverse motor.
