POLYSORBITOL-BASED OSMOTICALLY ACTIVE TRANSPORTER AND GENE THERAPY USING THE SAME AS A GENE CARRIER

PURPOSE: A biodegradable polysorbate osmotically active transporter is provided to improve transduction efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A biodegradable polysorbate osmotically active transporter(PSOAT) is denoted by chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the PSOAT comprises: a step of dissolving a sorbitol derivatives and low molecular polyethylene imine(PEI) in each reaction solvent; a step of adding low molecular polyethylene imine(PEI) solution to the sorbitol derivative solution; and a step of isolating copolymers from the reactant. The sorbitol derivative is sorbitol dimethacrylate(SDM) of chemical formula 4.
