<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for recovering a carbon dioxide achieved in favorable recovery efficiency and improved thermal efficiency for the regeneration of an absorption liquid to enable cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The device for recovering the carbon dioxide includes: an absorption tower making gas including the carbon dioxide come into contact with the absorption liquid under pressurization to make the absorption liquid absorb the carbon dioxide; a regeneration tower heating the absorption liquid absorbing the carbon dioxide to emit the carbon dioxide from the absorption liquid, and thus, regenerating the absorption liquid; and a steam supply system supplying steam to the regeneration tower to supplement steam included in recovery gas including the carbon dioxide and discharged from the regeneration tower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
