<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet jetting apparatus which surely reduces jetting defection of an abnormal nozzle by purge and also controls a total amount of liquid discharged by purge. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 has an inkjet head 4, a maintenance unit 7 for carrying out purge of a plurality of nozzles 16 of the inkjet head 4, and an jetting-state detection unit 6 for detecting a liquid jetting state regarding to each of the plurality of nozzles 16. Then, determination of the abnormal nozzle regarding to each of the plurality of nozzles 16 is made based on a detection result of the jetting-state detection unit 6, and the maintenance unit 7 is made to carry out purge of all the nozzles 16 while individual channels of the nozzles 16 determined as the abnormal nozzle is heated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
