PURPOSE: A door lock device for a refrigerator and a freezer is provided to open a door even if an opening and closing unit installed on a door panel is not operated by releasing the fastened state of a latching unit. CONSTITUTION: A door lock device(100) for a refrigerator and a freezer comprises a latching unit(110) and a safety unit(400). The latching unit comprises a latch(111) and a fastening hole. The safety unit is formed on the inner side of a fixed panel and has a bar-shaped shaft(410). One end of the bar-shaped shaft is fastened to the fastening hole of the latching unit through the fixed panel. The safety unit guides the linear movement of the shaft to release the fastened state of the latching unit. |
