PURPOSE: A water-soluble sheet for laundry is provided to not need to be removed after laundry by being completely dissolved in water, to have excellent cleaning performance, to be easy to use, to obtain storage stability, and to not be inconvenient in use. CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble sheet for laundry(5) consists of a continuous portion (5a)and a discontinuous portion(5b) on surface thereof. The height of the discontinuous portion in the thickness direction is more varied than the height of the neighboring continuous portion. A manufacturing method of the water-soluble comprises: a step of preparing an embossing roller and a pressing roller which comprises embossing protrusions in outer circumference; and a step of forming a continuous portion and discontinuous portion in a sheet for laundry, which is formed by drying a mixture solution for laundry, by the pressing roller pressing the sheet to the embossing roller by enabling the sheet to pass through between the embossing roller and the pressing roller. |
