<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to display various information in a format which is easily recognizable by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A display device communicably connected to a distribution device comprises: an information storage part for storing one or more pieces of information contents among external information distributed from the distribution device and/or internal information within the display device, icons associated with each piece of the information contents and an arrangement area in which the icons are arranged; a template storage part for storing one or more templates which have one or more arrangement areas for arranging the icons; a display icon determination part for determining a piece of information contents and an icon of display targets from the information storage part, and selecting a template which can display the determined piece of information contents and icon from the template storage part; and an image generation and display part for generating and displaying an image of a display target by embedding the determined icon in the arrangement area of the selected template which corresponds to the arrangement area of the determined icon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
