<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a good balance between the efficiency of photocatalytic reaction for decomposing organic impurities in water and the efficiency of liquid-solid separation by hydrocyclone, in a water purification device using a titanium dioxide dispersed catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: Most of composite titanium dioxide can be recovered from water in a reusable form by using hydrocyclone because a titanium dioxide ultrafine particle 23 is made composite by being fixed on the surface of a carrier fine particle 21 formed of quartz. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
