<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding and operating input device for detecting an operation in which a user hardly mistakes while holding an object to be held. <P>SOLUTION: An annular application core 12 having an application coil 11 wound therearound, an application part 13 which applies an electric signal to a user's hand holding a steering wheel 9 via the application coil 11, an annular measurement core 15 having a measurement coil 14 wound therearound, and a current measurement part 16 which measures a current flowing in the measurement coil 14 are provided in the steering wheel 9. Therefore, it can be detected whether fingertips holding the steering wheel 9 are in contact with each other from both sides of the steering wheel 9 held by the fingertips or not on the basis of the current measured by the current measurement part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
