<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably improve filtration efficiency and to dispense with frequent cleaning due to clogging of filter media and to dispense with reverse cleaning as well. <P>SOLUTION: This solid-liquid separator 1 includes a cylindrical sealed separator body 2, and a large number of filter media 15 filled in a filtration chamber of the separator body 2. The separator body 2 is provided with a water inflow port 3 and a water outflow port 4 at the upper part, and vertically divided inside by a baffle plate 5 with a large number of small holes 5a bored. An upper part is formed as the filtration chamber 6 in which the required number of filter media 15 are filled in irregular directions, and a lower part is formed as a solid sedimentation chamber 7 provided with a solid discharge port 8 at the bottom. Each filter medium 15 is provided, at its annular filter medium body, with a large number of rectangular water inflow ports in a zigzag form along the circumferential direction, and water flow regulating plates each curved in semicircular shape and extended inward from the short side on one side of each water inflow port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
