<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor with high efficiency/high reliability while enabling machining/assembling at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric compressor (not shown), a movable scroll 12 formed of aluminum performs turning movement in relation to a fixed scroll 11 formed of aluminum to compress a coolant. A plane section of the fixed scroll 11 abutting on the movable scroll 12 is mainly configured of a thrust plate 35 formed of an iron-based material and the thrust plate 35 is fastened to a fastening surface of the fixed scroll 11 on the same plane. The thrust plate 35 formed of the iron-based metal is held between axial direction sliding sections to make the sliding of different kinds of metal, thereby compatibly achieving the reliability of the axial direction sliding of the movable scroll 12 and high efficiency by the reduction of a gap in a compression space and directly fitting the movable scroll 12 and the fixed scroll 11. Accordingly, a gap at a tip of the movable scroll 12 is affected by only a dimensional tolerance between two components in a lap height of the movable scroll 12 and a lap height of the fixed scroll 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
