摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an NAO material friction material that has superior resistance to fading and high mechanical strength, and does not include copper or elemental copper. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a mixing step for mixing friction material raw material compounds to obtain a friction material raw material mixture; a kneading step for charging the friction material raw material mixture into a sealed kneading device, and kneading the mixture while maintaining the temperature inside the chamber of the kneading device higher than or equal to the melting temperature of a heat-curable resin and less than the curing temperature thereof as well as at a prescribed pressure to obtain a friction material raw material mixture; a granulating step for granulating the friction material raw material to obtain a friction material raw material granulated substance; and a hot press molding step for charging the friction material raw material granulated substance into a molding die, and hot press molding the substance with a press device to obtain a friction material molded substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
