PURPOSE: A device for controlling tension of a strip is provided to reduce the number of conveyor rolls, thereby reducing the costs due to manufacture, installation and maintenance, and preventing the deformation of the strip according to a tensionless state in the front end of the strip, and damage of the strip according to impact between the front end of the strip and the conveyor roll. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling tension of a strip includes a housing part(101) and a pressurizing fixing part(102). The housing part(101) moves on a rail(200) which is located between a rolling roll(11) and a winding roll(12). The front end of the strip(1), which has passed through the rolling roll(11), is inserted into the housing part(101). The housing part(101) guides the strip(1) from the rolling roll(11) to the winding roll(12) by the pressurizing fixing part(102) while moving on the rail(200) in the direction of the winding roll(12). The pressurizing fixing part(102) is located on one side of the housing part(101). The pressurizing fixing part(102) pressurizes the front end of the strip(1) and fixes it to the housing part(101). The device(100) for controlling tension of a strip is installed on one end of the housing part(101), and includes a tension measuring part(103) and a moving controlling part(104). The tension measuring part(103) measures the tension value of the strip(1) which is fixed by the a pressurizing fixing part(102). The moving controlling part(104) controls the moving velocity of the housing part(101) according to the tension value measured by the tension measuring part(103) so that the strip(1) is conveyed with maintaining a prescribed tension value. |
