<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radiation detection instrument which achieves improvement of S/N and spatial resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation detection instrument includes: a detection element group 21 having multiple detection elements 22 arranged on a support substrate 23; a shielding body 10 in which a pin hole 14 for letting radiation ray enter is formed on the front face and a slit 15 on the back face, which houses the detection element group 21; a signal processing substrate 31 provided outside of the shielding body 10 with a size larger than the width of the slit 15 for processing a detection signal detected by each detection element 22; and a relay substrate 32 passing through the slit 15 for connecting each detection element 22 and the signal processing substrate 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
