<p>The invention relates to a ballistic pendulum used for recording the force, acceleration and duration of some impact tests, in the field of material testing. According to the invention, the pendulum consists of a cylindrical body () made of steel, on which some force and acceleration transducers () are rigidly mounted, in the front part of the body () there being cut a bore wherein there is placed a rod () having the role of transmitting the impact force from a steel ball () to the force transducer (), where the ball () is the contact element with a sample subjected to the impact test and is rigidly fixed by means of a cover (), the force transducer () being fixed to the body () by means of some screws () and some non-extensible wires being fixed by means of some other screws () screwed into the body ().</p> |
