<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette that can easily nullify holography effect of a hologram layer formed on a printing tape by an arbitrary pattern shape, and to provide a tape printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The tape cassette includes: a tape case; a tape spool that is rotatably provided by winding around a printing surface with the printed tape wherein the hologram layer of super-minute unevenness is formed; an exposed part where the printed tape is exposed from the tape case; a ribbon spool where the ink layers containing a transparent ink layer are overlayed on the printed tape at an upstream in the tape transport direction of the exposed part, and the ink ribbon to be transported to the exposed part together with the printed tape is rotatably provided; a take-up spool where the tip end of the ink ribbon is fixed and the ink ribbon is taken up. The transparent ink layer is heat transferred to the upper side of the hologram layer of the print tape through a thermal head in the exposed part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
