<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position finding device that can secure redundancy of a memory circuit and, moreover, obtain a desired output when the source voltage has dropped. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetism detecting IC 10 as a position finding device in a usual operation mode, after processing a signal outputted from a magnetism detecting element 11 with a DSP 13, stores it into an F/F 14, and outputs it outside via a D/A 16. In this process, the output value of the F/F 14 is stored into a memory 17. A monitor circuit 40, when detecting a power supply momentary cut-off mode, intercepts signals between the F/F 14 and the memory 17 and signals between the F/F 14 and the D/A 16, and outputs signals of the memory of which updating is suspended to the D/A 16. On the other hand, the monitor circuit 40, when detecting a power supply long-time drop mode, fixes signals of the memory at Hi or Lo, and outputs them to the D/A 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
