PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building unit which can be loaded onto a truck in a stacked state.SOLUTION: The building unit including a plurality of columns 2 and ceiling beams 3 mutually connecting upper-end parts of the columns 2 has the ceiling beams 3 arranged in a rectangular shape in plan view, and also has the columns 2 arranged outside or inside of respective corner parts of the ceiling beams 3 arranged in the rectangular shape respectively, the columns 2 being joined to the ceiling beams 3.
