PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing spherized particles, in each of which carbon caused by combustion gas can be restrained from being stuck to the spherized particle.SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing the spherized particle includes: a spherization furnace 17 for spherizing a raw material powder; a plurality of raw material dispersion holes 19 which are arranged on the upper end 17A of the spherization furnace 17 and allow the raw material powder to be dispersed into the spherization furnace 17; a combustion chamber 21 which is arranged on the outside of the sidewall 17C of the spherization furnace 17, which is positioned between the upper end 17A of the spherization furnace 17 and the bottom 17B of the spherization furnace 17, and in which the outside surface 17a of the sidewall 17C of the spherization furnace 17 is exposed; burners 22-1, 22-2 which are arranged in the combustion chamber 21 to form flames 37-1, 37-2 in the combustion chamber 21; and a plurality of combustion gas introduction holes 23, penetrating the sidewall 17C of the spherization furnace 17, in which the combustion chamber 21 is exposed, and introducing the combustion gas in the combustion chamber 21, which is generated by the burners 22-1, 22-2, into the spherization furnace 17. |
