PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture prescription capable, though contingent on limited types of sludges, of mitigating the cost appreciation of an amidine-based polymer while preserving peculiar flocculating performances and dehydrated cake water content reducing functions of the amidine-based polymer or vinylamine-based polymer and of diversifying/expanding treatable sludge types and the pH range.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a sludge dehydrating agent consisting of a mixture provided by blending the following water-soluble polymers: (A) a water-soluble polymer including amidine structural units, (B) a water-soluble polymer provided by polymerizing a specified cationic monomer alone, and (C) an amphoteric water-soluble polymer provided by polymerizing a monomer mixture indispensably including a specified cationic monomer and a specified anionic monomer. |
