<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method, capable of improving power usage efficiency, with no use of a negative power source required, with simplification and miniaturization of the device being possible.SOLUTION: One end of a Peltier element 18 is connected to a connection node to the other end of a current path of a P-type MOSFET 13 and one end of a current path of an N-type MOSFET 14. A regulator 19 applies a second DC voltage Vref which is lower than a first DC voltage Vcc and higher than a ground voltage to the other end of the Peltier element 18. An MCU 11, according to temperature of an EML which is to be controlled and contacts to the Peltier element 18, controls quantity and a direction of the current that flows the Peltier element 18 by controlling a duty ratio of a pulse-like signal outputted from itself.</p> |
