PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform formed by fixing a dry fiber fabric with another dry fiber fabric without requiring heating.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a preform for a fiber-reinforced plastic molded body comprising: a step of subjecting a resin solution for fixing including a radical polymerizable resin and a polymerizable monomer to freezing and crushing to obtain a frozen-crushed material; a step of scattering the frozen-crushed material over a dry fiber fabric, thereafter fusing the frozen-crushed material to adhere the resin solution for fixing onto the dry fiber fabric; and a step of fixing the dry fiber fabrics together by laminating another dry fiber fabric on the dry fiber fabric having the resin solution for fixing adhered.
