Provided in embodiments of the present invention is a multimode wireless terminal comprising: a universal central processing unit, a reconfigurable baseband processing module, a reconfigurable intermediate radiofrequency module, and a reconfigurable antenna module. The universal central processing unit is used for determining configuration information of at least one wireless communication format and for processing data of various protocol layers, except a physical layer, of the at least one wireless communication format. The reconfigurable baseband processing module is used for reconfiguring processing capability for physical layer data of the at least one wireless communication format and for processing the physical layer data of the at least one wireless communication format. The reconfigurable intermediate radiofrequency module is used for reconfiguring the center frequency and bandwidth of a radiofrequency channel that corresponds to the at least one wireless communication format and for providing the radiofrequency channel that corresponds to the at least one wireless communication format. The reconfigurable antenna module is used for reconfiguring an antenna combination that corresponds to the at least one radiofrequency channel.
