PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for a drive object switching element which can prevent the deterioration of reliability of a switching element S¥# caused by switching to an off state of the switching element S¥# not carrying out a soft interruption processing when the excess current flows into the switching element S¥#.SOLUTION: In a drive circuit DU, a gate and an emitter of a switching element S¥# are connected with each other via a path for clamp Lclamp. A resistor 32 is provided on the path for clamp Lclamp. In a state that the collector current Ic decreases, the path for clamp Lclamp and a main current flow path connected to the collector are magnetically coupled to each other so that gate charges move to the path for clamp Lclamp side. |
