In this application we describe illumination for an optical IV monitoring device, and a unique problem making it distinct from other machine vision applications is the existence of condensation (and splash) droplets, and the illumination system must have the ability to prevent the formation of condensation droplets in order to acquire clear images. We show in this application how a combination of LED and incandescent light could provide bright illumination for imaging while simultaneously prevent condensation. |
