PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corneal endothelial cell photographing apparatus which indicates whether or not the visual axis of a subject is directed toward a lighting fixation target.SOLUTION: A corneal endothelial cell photographing apparatus comprises: a slit light projection optical system for projecting slit light; a corneal endothelial cell photographing optical system for photographing corneal endothelial cells by receiving reflected light from the corneal endothelial cells; plural external fixation target light sources and internal fixation target light sources for the visual axis of a subject's eye in a specified direction; and alignment detection means for detecting the alignment of the apparatus body, the alignment detection means having an alignment index light source 41 for projecting alignment index light toward the cornea of the subject's eye. The corneal endothelial cell photographing apparatus further includes visual axial direction detection means for detecting the visual axial direction of the subject's eye on the basis of the center position of the pupil of the subject's eye and the projected position of the alignment index light projected on the cornea. The visual axial direction detection means comprises a pupil image extraction circuit 401, a pupil image position detection circuit 402, a bright point image extraction circuit 403, a bright point image position detection circuit 404, and a visual axial direction calculation circuit 405. |
