<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the number of times of quantitative feed per unit time in a quantitative feeding device for supplying articles to be weighed at a plurality of steps including a gradually decreasing step and a small supply step. <P>SOLUTION: The articles to be weighed are supplied at three steps comprising a large supply step, the gradually decreasing step, and the small supply step. In particular, the step is switched from the gradually decreasing step to the small supply step at a predetermined second switching time t2s. At the same time, a gate opening Gx when the gradually decreasing step is started is properly controlled so that a measured weight value Wx at the second switching time t2s, strictly speaking, an estimated weight value Wx" obtained by estimating the true supplied weight value of the articles to be weighed as the function of an elapsed time tx is a specified value generally equivalent to a predetermined maximum standard weight value Ws[N].
