<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for an electric double-layer capacitor, having a sufficient tensile strength and simultaneously capable of reducing a value of resistance, and an electric double-layer capacitor.SOLUTION: A separator for an electric double layer capacitor includes a glass fiber nonwoven fabric made by wet papermaking, and a resin binder binding between fibers of the glass fiber nonwoven fabric. The resin binder comprises a urethane resin, a styrene-butadiene rubber, an epoxy resin, an acrylic resin, a phenol resin or a polyimide resin.</p> |
