PURPOSE:To carry out the squirt control in which speed change shock is little, by varying the lapse time in the speed change stage which is temporarily achieved, according to the fact the shift from N range to the traveling range is the torque reversal shift or the no-reversal torque shift. CONSTITUTION:When a shift range detecting means detects the N traveling range shift, a torque reversal detecting means judges the torque reversal shift in advance N retreat or retreat N advance or the no-reversal torque shift in advance N advance or retreat N retreat. In the no-reversal torque shift, a squirt control means shortens the temporary lapse time in the high speed stage, while prolongs the temporary lapse time in the high speed stage in the torque reversal shift. Therefore, the squirt control can be always executed with the superior level of speed change shock and time lag. |
