Disclosed are a device and a method for aligning a base sequence by considering accuracy. The device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a seed extracting unit for extracting one or more seeds matching with a reference sequence from a read; a mapping score calculating unit for respectively mapping a left domain and a right domain of the read in the reference sequence based on the seeds in a mapped position of the reference sequence of each of the seeds about each of the extracted seeds, and calculating a left mapping score and a right mapping score of each mapped position from a result of the mapping; and a read aligning unit for determining a mapped position in the reference sequence for each of the seeds by using the calculated left mapping score and right mapping score. |
