PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for OCT capable of reducing corrosion of a torque wire and a tubular material.SOLUTION: A catheter 10A for OCT includes: a tubular metal torque wire 12 for transmitting driving force to the tip of the catheter 10A; a tubular metal material 13 disposed between the torque wire 12 and a driving device which is communicated with the torque wire 12 and transmits driving force to the torque wire 12; and an optical fiber 11 included in each hollow part of the torque wire 12 and the tubular material 13 for optically connecting the driving device and the tip. An end part 12a of the torque wire 12 is inserted into the hollow part 13a of the tubular material 13, and an insulation member 14 is disposed between the end part 12a and the hollow part 13a so that the tubular material 13 and the torque wire 12 are insulated from each other.
