<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently and effectively utilize the storage area of a volatile video memory and to achieve various performance display using more material image data. <P>SOLUTION: Performance control boards 30 and 30z have a NAND type flash memory 340 as a character ROM. A symbol CPU 311 specifies respective pieces of sprite data to be read from the NAND type flash memory 340 according to video images to be displayed, also selects a specified section 320S or the like of a plurality of sections 320 in volatile video memories 321 and 322 according to the sizes of respective sprites based on the respective pieces of specified sprite data, and develops the respective pieces of sprite data in the specified section 320S or the like. A VDP 330 reads the respective pieces of sprite data from the specified section 320S in character RAMs 321 and 322 according to the instruction of the symbol CPU 311 and displays video images at a decoration symbol display device 16 on the basis of the respective pieces of sprite data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
