PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard instrument that can easily open and close a cover and capable of making the whole instrument compact.SOLUTION: A keyboard instrument includes a key cover unit 4 which covers the upper part of a keyboard 3 in a closed state and opens the upper part of the keyboard 3 in an opened state and constituted of: a rear cover member 41 covering a rear upper part of the keyboard 3 in a closed state; a first front cover member 42 configured to be capable of vertically sliding along the front surface of an instrument main body 2 and covering the front surface side of the keyboard in the closed state and capable of being placed substantially in parallel with the lower surface at the lower surface side of the instrument main body 2 in the closed state; and a second front cover member 43 connected to the first front cover member 42 through a front cover connection shaft, and abutting against the front end side of the rear cover member 41 with the rear end side and covering the upper front part of the keyboard 3 in the closed state while being placed at the front surface side of the keyboard 3 when placed at a location in which the first front cover member 42 is substantially parallel to the lower surface of the instrument main body 2 in the opened state. |
