<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester amide compound exhibiting sufficient oxygen absorption performance and also having no generation of discomfort odor.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyester amide compound comprising: a polyhydric carboxylic acid unit of 25 to 49.995 mol%; a polyhydric alcohol unit of 25 to 49.995 mol%; and a specified structural unit of 0.1 to 50 mol%, in which the polyhydric carboxylic acid unit, provided that the polyhydric carboxylic acid unit is defined as 100 mol%, comprises a specified aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit of 70 to 99.99 mol%, and a unit selected from a specified sulfophthalic acid unit and a specified sulfophthalic acid metal salt unit by 0.01 to 30.0 mol%, and the polyhydric alcohol unit, when the polyhydric alcohol unit is defied as 100 mol%, comprises a specified aliphatic diol unit by 70 mol% or higher.</p> |
