Provided are a system and a method for managing oil quality. The system for managing oil quality includes an oil information transmitting/receiving part which receives quality information of oil from at least one of terminals installed in a tank terminal, an oil transport vehicle and a gas station; and an oil quality managing part which obtains the specific gravity of the oil by monitoring the quality information of the received oil, and transmits the quality abnormality signal of the oil to at least one of the terminals installed in the tank terminal, the transport vehicle and the gas station through the oil information transmitting/receiving part when the specific gravity of the obtained oil is out of a predetermined range.
