PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer film having reduced variations of retardation in an in-plane direction (Re) and a thickness direction (Rth) in optical characteristics of a retardation film caused by changes in humidity in a use environment.SOLUTION: The polymer film contains at least one of a compound represented by formula below or hydrates, solvates or salts thereof. In the formula, Y represents a methine group or N; Q, Qand Qrepresent a single bond or a divalent linking group; R, Rand Rrepresent H, an alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aryl group, cyano group, halogen group, heterocyclic group, or the like; Xrepresents a single bond or a divalent linking group; Xrepresents a single bond or a divalent linking group; Rand Rrepresent H, an alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aryl group, heterocyclic group, or the like; however, one of Q-Rand N(XR)XRis -NHand it is not allowed that both are simultaneously -NH; and when Y is N and N(XR)XRis -NH, -Q-Ris not -NH. |
