<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift detention device for a vehicle, helping to conduct a smooth shift change with the most suitable operating force according to the shift change. <P>SOLUTION: The shift detention device for the vehicle includes a shift rod 1 axially slidable with an operation of a shift lever 10 and a cutout 20 having a first cutout 21 formed corresponding to at least a neutral position and a second cutouts 22 and 23 provided next to the first cutout 21 and corresponding to a predetermined change speed position, and a ball 5 coming in contact with the cutout 20 along a form of the cutout 20 through being pressed to the cutout 20 of the shift rod 1. The cutout 20 of the shift rod 1 is formed of a continued curve with a small-diameter circular shape from the first change point P1 and a continued curve with a large-diameter circular shape from the second change point P2. A distance L1 from the first change point P1 to a peak-load generation point P0 is shorter than a distance L2 from the second change point P2 to the peak-load generation point P0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
