For ordinary warming of a diver, hot water is fed through a feed hose (3) system into the diver suit, then to flow out into the surrounding water. If this supply is interrupted a pump (1) pumps water in a circuit from the heat source (3) through a conduit incorporating a unit (5) for reserve heating of the water and an aperture (9) for connection with the surrounding water. The heating water is pumped back to the heat source (3) through a conduit (2) to which the feed conduit (6) via a check valve (7) is connected (8).
