<p>PURPOSE: To hold an attraction force constant irrespective of the position even if the position of the movable core of a solenoid is changed in a certain range. CONSTITUTION: The solenoid comprises a bobbin 10 wound with an electromagnetic coil 9 for generating a magnetic force, a sleeve 20 made of a stationary core 1 engaged with the bottom 10, a nonmagnetic cylinder 8 and a guide cylinder 6, and a movable core 7 sliding by the magnetic force of the coil 9 in the sleeve 20, wherein a cylinder 2 having a larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the core 7 is provided at the attracting surface side with the core 7 at the core 1, and an annular groove 3 is provided on the outer periphery 2b or end face 2a of the cylinder 2.</p> |
