<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate of a socket capable of restraining pulling-out of a plug and restraining deterioration of durability of a socket body, and an embedded socket including the plate. <P>SOLUTION: The plate 3 of a socket is fixed on a work surface, and exposes a front surface side of the socket 1 with a plug blade insertion port 11 from a socket body insertion hole 31. Then, a cover 41 which performs an action for making a closed state of the socket body insertion hole 31 by covering the socket body insertion hole 31 and an action for making an open state of the socket body insertion hole 31 by separating from the socket body insertion hole 31 is arranged on a plate surface which is a surface of the plate 3 of the socket located at an opposite side against the work surface.
