PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the time difference is generated between a shop and a head office, that the quantity of stock can not be accurately grasped and that losses are brought about because the head office places orders in most cases in order to make it easy to manage cost, etc., when the shop is separated from the head office. SOLUTION: Orders are placed from the dedicated local database (information obtained by accumulating information that the shop places orders is carried on dedicated ordering image, LDB hereafter) by using a shop POS and a terminal. Meanwhile, an open database that any one is allowed to look at (where nationwide merchandise information is collected and accumulated by using the Internet and can be read throughout the world, ODB hereafter) is provided at the same time, and the shop reads the ODB and sends order desires from now on to the head office. When the head office gives permission, and the order desires are notified the center to be defined as merchandise to be usually ordered by copying the order desires into the shop LDB from the ODB. Thus, the shop can perform ordering business completely under the control of the head office (bringing about a reduction in loss and the elimination of ordering errors because of directly connecting to stock taking). |
