PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an insulating heat conductive sheet comprising a fluorine resin including polytetrafluoroethylene and heat conductive particles, which enables the further simplification of a manufacturing process in comparison to a conventional method, and enables the achievement of uniform dispersion of the heat conductive particles, and by which a heat conduction property comparable to or more than that of a conventional sheet can be ensured.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an insulating heat conductive sheet comprises the steps of: (i) stirring a fluorine resin and heat conductive particles in water, thereby forming a water-based liquid dispersion (A) including a mixture resulting from the dispersion and mixing of the fluorine resin and the heat conductive particles; (ii) dehydrating the water-based liquid dispersion (A) into a mixture; (iii) mixing the mixture thus obtained with a nonaqueous molding assistant agent, thereby forming a molding mixture including the fluorine resin, the heat conductive particles and the molding assistant agent; (iv) casting the molding mixture into a sheet; and (v) removing the molding assistant agent from the sheet. |
