PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for automatically adjusting the relationship with the rotor position by detecting the potential at the Y-connection point of the stator winding, as a system for achieving stable driving from the rotor position sensorless stop/low speed region of an AC motor having a three-phase stator winding of Y-connection.SOLUTION: A controller of a synchronous motor including a three-phase synchronous motor having a three-phase stator winding of Y-connection, and an inverter for driving the motor, moves the rotor to a predetermined position by energizing the synchronous motor with a DC current, applies a pulse voltage from the inverter in the moved state, acquires the neutral point potential, in other words, the potential at the Y-connection point, during application of the pulse voltage, and drives the synchronous motor based on the value thus obtained. |
