PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which provides a space in which a user plays a game, enables the user to comparatively easily acquire an item that can advantageously progress a game and can improve the attraction of the game.SOLUTION: An information processing device connected to a terminal device operated by a player through a network to provide the terminal device with a game space includes a storage unit for storing an item that can advantageously progress a game and item information related to effectiveness of the item, and player information related to an item held by the player and a status of the game, an item providing unit for receiving a purchase request for an item from the terminal device, and updating the item information and the player information, and a game processing unit for receiving a player's operation on the terminal device and progressing the game on the basis of the item information and the player information. The information processing device varies the effectiveness of the item according to the number of players who have purchased the item. |
