PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which is capable of shortening a length in an optical axis direction in a collapsed state with a simple structure and further strong against an external force such as an impact, while keeping optical performance high.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 100 includes a barrier blade 13, a rotary cylinder 114, a movable cylinder 112 which holds a first lens group 101 arranged on the most object side and is moved in the optical axis direction along a cam shape, according to the rotation of the rotary cylinder 114, and a barrier drive ring 12 which opens and closes the barrier blade 13. When the lens barrel 100 is changed from a photographing state to the collapsed state, the barrier drive ring 12 is moved in a direction away from the first lens group 101 in the optical axis direction. When the lens barrel 100 is changed from the collapsed state to the photographing state, the barrier drive ring 12 is moved in the direction approaching the first lens group 101 in the optical axis direction. |
