PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal adopting the DS-CDMA system with a simple configuration that attains uninterruptible handover communication. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal of a system where a plurality of base station devices BS1, 2 and the mobile terminal MS1 asynchronously in operation are connected by the DS-CDMA system, is provided with a reception section RX tuned to an optional reception frequency, a 1st inverse spread section DSPD1 that establishes/maintains initial synchronization by a 1st code C1 for a received signal of the reception section, a 2nd inverse spread section DSPD2 that establishes/maintains initial synchronization by a 1st code C2 for the received signal of the reception section, a 1st changeover switch section SWI that selects a secondary demodulation signal of outputs of the 1st and 2nd inverse spread sections, a primary demodulation section DEM that is connected to an output of the 1st changeover switch section, and a control section CCNT that controls each section above. The mobile terminal uses the 1st inverse spread section DSPD1 to make communication with the 1st base station device BS1 and uses the 2nd inverse spread section DSPD2 to take initial synchronization with the received signal from the 2nd base station device BS2. |
