PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mounting efficiency by calculating the total weight of a part weight and a pallet weight and setting the optimal operation speed of an elevator mechanism. SOLUTION: A CPU 50 selects the electronic part housed in a second part supplying device 4, namely the electronic part to be used, from mounting data stored in a RAM 51, and retrieves the library data of the part to be used to calculate the total of the pallet weight and the part weight. Then, the CPU 50 determines whether this calculated total weight is not heavier than 30 kg. Then, when the total weight is not heavier than 30 kg, a set mode corresponding to the total weight shown in the figure 6 is selected and the vertically moving motor 36 of the elevator mechanism 21 is controlled by the CPU 50 to move at a prescribed speed in the case of driving the mechanism. Thus, the mechanism 21 can be moved at a higher speed when the total weight is light and the mechanism 21 can be moved at a lower speed when the total weight is heavy. |
