LYOCELL TIRE CORD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Lyocell tire cord having excellent shape stability and heat stability, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: The lyocell tire cord is obtained by a process containing the steps of: twisting lyocell with a twisting machine for tire reinforcement to make the lyocell having 30-50times/10cm of Z twist; doubling and twisting two strings of the lyocell to make the lyocell having S twist; dipping the lyocell into an RFL solution to make the lyocell having 4-6wt.% of pick-up based on the lyocell; drying at 130-200deg.C for 10-200seconds; and then heating at 150-250deg.C for 10-200seconds. The lyocell is characterized by: 5-6g/d of dry strength; 10-15% of breaking elongation; 4.5-5.3g/d of wet strength; at least 18kg of deep strength; at least 13kg of adhesive force; and under 2% of dry heat shrinkage.
